Benefits

At AirNet Cargo Charter Services we offer a flexible, comprehensive benefit program designed to provide financial protection and peace of mind - for now and in the future. Our benefit program is designed to provide both value and flexibility. AirNet shares the cost of some of these benefits. The program provides the greatest value for the benefit dollars that the company and our team members spend.

This information summarizes our benefit plans. The terms of the actual Summary Plan Documents, contracts or other applicable documents such as the AirNet Team Member Handbook will govern in all cases. Plans described are subject to change. AirNet reserves the right to amend or terminate any benefit program, require or increase team member contributions, or restrict or reduce any benefits or eligibility.

Group Health Insurance
Group heath insurance coverage, including medical, prescription, dental and vision coverage, is offered to team members and their eligible dependents. Team members partner with AirNet in paying premiums for coverage.

Our Medical Coverage provides a broad range of medical-related services within a Preferred Provider Organization Network. The plan provides the flexibility to seek care from any provider, without referrals. However, care provided out-of-network will result in reduced benefits, higher out-of-pocket costs and more administration. Most in-network services are provided with reasonable out-of-pocket co-payments or co-insurance levels.

The Prescription Drug Plan offers options of using in-network pharmacies, non-network pharmacies or mail-order home delivery at reasonable out-of-pocket co-payments or co-insurance levels.

Dental Coverage includes benefits for preventive/diagnostic services, basic restorative services and major restorative services. Care may be sought from any licensed dentist, however if a network dentist is used, out-of-pocket costs can be lower and administrative claims filing will be eliminated.

Our Vision Benefits are designed to assist with necessary eye exams, lenses, frames and contact lenses. Claims are reimbursed based on a schedule of benefits.

Section 125 Programs
The Section 125 program is a benefit governed by the Internal Revenue Service which provides opportunities for team members to tax defer insurance premiums and pay other eligible health care expenses that are not covered elsewhere. The Premium Conversion Account allows health insurance premiums to be deducted from team members' pay pre-tax. Through the Flexible Spending Medical Account, participants may save up to $5,000 annually through pre-tax payroll deductions.

Life Insurance
AirNet provides company paid Term Life Insurance of one x salary up to $250,000 and Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance of $10,000 to all active full time team members. Team members may purchase up to $500,000 of voluntary Supplemental Term Life Insurance coverage in $10,000 increments for themselves, up to half of their elected amount to a maximum of $300,000 for their spouse, and $10,000 for their children. Rates for the Supplemental Term Life Insurance are age banded. The Supplemental Term Life Insurance is fully portable and if elected within the requirements of the plan, guaranteed issue, with no exclusions for pilots.

Voluntary Disability Insurance
For those times when non-work related medical disabilities prevent team members from working, AirNet provides the opportunity for the purchase of disability insurance. Rates for these plans are based on the wage and age of the participant. Short-Term Disability (STD) pays 60% of the weekly base wage (up to a maximum of $1000 per week) for eligible participants for up to 24 weeks following a waiting period of 14 consecutive days of disability. Long-Term Disability (LTD) provides 60% of the monthly base wage (up to a maximum of $6,000 per month) for eligible participants following a 180 consecutive day waiting period. Benefits may continue to up to age 65.

401(k)
The AirNet 401(k) Plan enables team members to contribute to a retirement savings plan with pre-tax dollars by electing to defer up to 15% of earnings each pay to investment funds of their choice. AirNet provides a company match for a portion of the deferred investment. Team members are eligible to participate after one year of continuous service of at least 1,000 hours, and must be 18 years of age. Enrollment opportunities are available each quarter for eligible team members.

Time Off Benefits
It is our belief that to perform at the top of their ability, our team members need time off during the year to enjoy other aspects of their lives. During the first five years of employment, full-time team members who have completed 60 days of continuous employment and are regularly scheduled to work a minimum of 30 hours per week accrue 1.54 hours of Vacation per week. After completion of five years, full-time team members accrue 2.31 hours of vacation per week. Full-time team members are granted one week of sick time equal to their regularly scheduled weekly hours annually following 60 days of continuous employment. Sick leave is approved at the discretion of the team leader.

AirNet normally observes seven holidays each year:
