Do I need to contact AirNet before my baby is born?

No, you do not need to prearrange the transportation with AirNet. However, you can contact AirNet via phone or email to comfirm the shipping charge.

Does AirNet offer bedside pickup service or will I have to drop the package somewhere?

Yes, AirNet provides bedside pickup service. After you have called the Customer Resource Center to arrange the pick-up, the courier will come to your bedside to pick up the package.

When should I call AirNet?

AirNet requests that you call within two (2) hours after the baby is born. Our Customer Resource Center is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week including holidays.

What information do I need to schedule my shipment?

Yes, as long as they have all the information referenced above.

What types of payment does AirNet accept?

Do you pick up in my area?

How long will it be before my shipment is picked up?

AirNet will typically arrive within 90 minutes of your call and completion of your order. A Solution Specialist will provide you with an estimated time of pickup when you place the order.

Does the driver know how the blood samples need to be packaged?

No. The driver has only been trained how to handle the shipment. If there are any questions regarding the packaging of the shipment, please refer to the packaging instructions on form NC2-4 or call NeoCells at 727-204-3301 or 888-50-CELLS to speak with someone regarding proper packaging.

Does the blood need to be refrigerated?

No. Your baby’s cord blood should NOT be refrigerated. Please contact NeoCells if you have any more questions concerning this issue.

Does AirNet already have my information on file?

AirNet is a separate company from NeoCells, therefore, does not have access to NeoCells records or information. AirNet only has access to the information you supply at the time of the order.

Will the courier make certain I have completed the AirNet airbill correctly?

Yes, the courier will ensure the airbill is filled out properly before leaving the pickup location.

Which papers do I need to return to NeoCells?

NeoCells requires the Cord Blood Collection Form (NC2-5) to be returned with the cord blood collection kit. Please contact NeoCells or review the NeoCells shipping instructions with further questions.
