index from previous month is used for calculating Fuel Surcharge.
The AirNet fuel
surcharge is based on the Columbus, Ohio Average Contract Jet Fuel Price (the
“Index”) as reported by OPIS (Oil Price Information Service) and applies to all
AirNet shipments.
The surcharge
percentage will be subject to adjustment, based on the Index average for the
preceding month, linking the fuel surcharge to the prevailing market price for
jet fuel.
AirNet will adjust
surcharge amounts in the first full billing cycle of each month.
Fuel surcharge
percentages and thresholds are subject to change without prior notice. If the fuel surcharge rises above 12.00% or
there are changes to the thresholds, the table will be adjusted. AirNet will publish the Index and the
applicable surcharge each month on its website www.airnet.com.
By tendering your
shipment to AirNet, you agree to pay the surcharges as applied by AirNet.
